Study on the costs of violence against women in Poland (2013-2015)

The project studied the costs of domestic and sexual violence against women in Poland. Data on justice, health and social sectors was collected in cooperation with the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment in Poland and two Polish researchers. In addition to the report on the Polish situation, a model approach on how to assess costs of violence against women in other Council of Europe member states was developed, and is being used by HEUNI in current projects.
