HEUNI’s team of experts has substantive expertise in a number of key fields in crime prevention and criminal justice as well as in the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the collection and analysis of information. Our strength is in multidisciplinary research that combines social sciences and legal perspectives.
Our vision is to identify evidence-based promising criminal justice and crime prevention practices in Europe that may have wider application, both in and beyond Europe.
In order to accomplish this we use the in-house expertise of HEUNI staff, the tools developed and our network of partners.
