Preparations of review of UN recommendations on violence against women (2008)

Background information

This activity was initiated in June 2008. HEUNI together with the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy in Vancouver as well as other members of the PNI, is assisting UNODC in preparing a revision of the 1997 Model Strategies and Practical Measures on the Elimination of Violence Against Women in the Field of Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. The document was presented for the Crime Commission at its eighteenth session in 2010.
