International Prison Policy Development Instrument - the Russian application (2009)

Background information

The translation into Russian and adaptation to Russian circumstances of the International Prison Policy Development Instrument, published by the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform & Criminal Justice Policy (Vancouver, Canada) was finalised and printed in 2009. The partners together with HEUNI were the Finnish Training Institute of the Prison and Probation Services and the Institute of Qualification Improvement of the Federal Service of the Punishment Execution (Pushkin, Russian Federation), with the later involvement also of the Pskov Law Institute of the Federal Penal Service (Pskov, Russian Federation).

Funding for the project has been provided by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Dissemination also in other Russian-speaking countries is envisaged
